Erika has extensive experience in teaching Chinese to non-native speakers. She is specialised in tutoring HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) material for standard courses, however, Erika also utilises her skills to provide both knowledgeable and fun lessons for all students. She strongly believes that teaching Chinese culture is a very important aspect of learning the language.

Teaching experience

Erika has been a part of the Chinese language teaching industry for more than a decade. After graduating from university, HANBAN (the headquarter of Confucius Institute) provided Erika with the opportunity to teach Chinese in Thailand for two years. Here, she was responsible for coordinating and providing class delivery for high school and university students. Upon returning to China, Erika utilised her passion, patience and professionalism to become a well regarded and highly recognised Chinese tutor for adults. Erika moved to Sydney in 2017, when she was expatiated by HANBAN to teach at the HSK centre due to her abilities in teaching Chinese to an extensive age range.
