Salimah Ma

Ma Yina (Salimah) is a native Chinese speaker from Beijing, China who has seven years of teaching experience in Mandarin language.

Salimah has taught Mandarin to over 200 students of all ages: from early-stage learners to high school students to business professionals. This teaching has covered basic Chinese for beginners, Mandarin improvement, Chinese culture, business Mandarin, HSK, IGCSE and more.

Teaching Experience

Salimah used to teach Mandarin to a class of students as well as one-on-one private sessions in Malaysia. After COVID lockdowns, Salimah continued to teach Mandarin through Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft teams which equated to more than 1300 hours. She has received extensive feedback from students in that they are able to use what they have learned in their daily lives, work, and exams.
Salimah loves teaching and enjoys every class with her students. She is highly passionate about education, particularly in Mandarin Chinese.
