Teaching experience

Jean has been a TCSL teacher for over a decade. Whilst studying her Bachelor and Masters, she taught Chinese to foreign students, until during her final year of her postgraduate studies, she was appointed by HABAN (the headquarter of Confucius Institute) to teach Mandarin in universities across New York. Jean has extensive experience in teaching Chinese to people of different ages, including primary school students through to adults. Her knowledge and experience has allowed her to view the Chinese language as a means to better access a greater understanding China and Chinese culture.
